EZ Grader Chart – 20 Questions

How to Print an EZ Grader Chart

  1. Choose the number of questions with the + / − buttons or tap a popular test length.
  2. Check the chart on screen. Switch on plus/minus grades or one decimal place if you need them.
  3. Click Print this chart for a clean, single-page chart, or set a range (for example 1 to 25) and click Print range to print a set of charts.
  4. In the print dialog choose your printer, or “Save as PDF” to keep a digital copy.

Charts use the Easy Grader’s grading scale. To change the A/B/C/D cutoffs, open Custom grade scale on the Easy Grader — your printable charts will use the same scale automatically.

Why Use a Printable EZ Grader Chart?

A printed chart is the fastest way to grade a big stack of tests with the same length: count the wrong answers, find the row, write the score. It works just like the classic cardboard EZ grader, but it covers any test length from 1 to 100 questions, shows the letter grade, and costs nothing. Keep one clipped to each answer key and you will never need to do the math again.

Reading the Chart

Each row shows the number of wrong answers, the number correct, the percentage and the letter grade. For example, on a 25-question test each wrong answer costs 4 points, so 3 wrong = 22 correct = 88% (B).

Test lengthPoints per question1 wrong5 wrong
101090%50%
20595%75%
25496%80%
402.598% (97.5)88% (87.5)
50298%90%
100199%95%

Percentages are rounded to whole numbers by default. Turn on “1 decimal place” to show exact values like 87.5%.

Need Half Points or More Than 100 Questions?

Use the interactive Easy Grader: it supports up to 500 questions, half-point deductions and up to two decimal places, and it can print a chart for any test length.
